About the Director

Liane Simard is a pioneer in the field of coaching actors for TV and film. She has worked as a coach for professional actors on Montreal film sets for over 20 years. She has trained many young actors who have gone on to achieve international acclaim.

Liane is also an author and filmmaker. Her film, La boîte, which she wrote, produced, and directed was shown at the World Film Festival as well as the Rendez-vous du cinema Québécois.

To bring to life to her various writing projects, she created “Les Édition du bardeau” publishing house. “Je reviendrai te dire”, a children’s story, is the first title published. Her upcoming book, “My child, an actor? Everything you need to know…”  a guide for parents of child actors will be published in the near future. http://leseditionsdubardeau.com

She has also founded a school focusing on acting for the camera where she teaches actors of all age groups. She continues to write and produce her own films.
